Play responsibly

A good game leaves room for life.

These pages teach a card game. They do not invite stake play. If you ever play elsewhere, keep the game in proportion.

Keep the game in its place.

Rummy is absorbing. That is part of the pleasure and the reason to decide, before you start, when you will stop. This website does not take wagers and does not pay winnings.

Give yourself a stopping point.

A time limit is easier to keep than a promise to stop “after the next deal”. Set it before the first card, and treat it as finished when it arrives.

Play with a clear head.

Fatigue and alcohol make sequences harder to see and declarations easier to rush. If the hand has stopped being enjoyable, leave the table.

Keep practice free of stakes.

You can learn pure sequences, sets and the difference between Points, Pool and Deals without spending money. Nothing on Rummy Good Game requires a deposit.

Protect your information.

Do not send identity documents, card numbers or one-time passwords to a page that only offers guides. A request of that kind is a reason to stop, not a step in learning rummy.

India: current public policy context

Online gaming rules in India are published by public authorities and can change from state to state. This page is not legal advice. Read the current text from the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology and from your state before you use any real-money product.

Age and game ratings

These guides are written for adults. Real-money rummy, where it is offered by someone else, is commonly restricted to people 18 and over. This site does not operate that kind of game.

If playing stops feeling manageable

Stop, talk to someone you trust, and look for a local health or counselling service. Chasing a loss is not a strategy this guide will teach, because it is not part of learning the cards.
